Paul Linhares

Paul Linhares is a central Ohio ceramic artist and professor. He received his BFA in 1991 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and his MFA in 2000 from West Virginia University. He has been an adjunct ceramics professor at Mount Vernon Nazarene University since 2001. Paul’s work is represented by the River Gallery in Rocky River, Ohio. His exhibition record includes a solo show at the Canton Museum of Art, in 2014, plus invitational exhibits at Cedar Creek Gallery’s National Teapot Show VII, VIII, and IX; the Chautauqua Institution Ceramics Invitational Retrospective Exhibit; with juried shows including the 9th, 12th, 16th,18th, and 26th Strictly Functional Pottery Nationals, Utilitarian Ceramics National, plus numerous other exhibitions. Paul’s pottery has been featured in Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated magazines, in addition to 500 Cups, 500 Plates and Platters, and 500 Teapots II by Lark Books.
